Who are we?
It took faith and courage to entrust a boat full of ideas to the river of Time, imagining that it could reach us still eager for the future after more than a century of navigation.
Yet what, in 1909, seemed like the dream of a few forward-thinking citizens of Padua has proven to be a bold venture that bore fruit: today, Canottieri Padova is a prestigious sports club, particularly distinguished by its strong focus on youth development, with the clear aim of introducing young people to sport in the right way.
Our association represents the synthesis of two values that have always been present in the most dynamic part of the Padua community: on one hand, the desire to enjoy oneself with intelligence; on the other, the moral commitment to offer young people the opportunity to approach sport within an open environment that engages daily with the challenges of the city.
Managing a club with more than a thousand members is no easy task, but over a century of history gives us the strength to look to the future with confidence.
We must remember with gratitude all the members, professionals, and entrepreneurs who have always supported us; thank the public institutions for their trust and contributions; and pay tribute to the city of Padua, its people, and its history, of which we proudly feel a meaningful part.
