High-level competition to fight for the top positions!
In the heart of the enchanting setting of Padua’s River Ring, an extraordinary competitive event takes place: the Padua Water Marathon.
Immersed in the historic and picturesque atmosphere of Padua, athletes compete in an intricate network of waterways surrounding the city, creating a unique experience that blends sport, nature, and culture.
Start for each category
The start of the Padua Water Marathon under the “Gran Pavese” is a moment of great excitement and significance for both participants and spectators. This ancient ritual, involving the use of flags, adds a touch of tradition and solemnity to the start of the event.
As the canoes line up on the water, the “Gran Pavese” represents the highlight of the starting ceremony. Spectators wait in anticipation for the sound of the start signal, while the canoeists mentally prepare for the upcoming challenge.
