The 2026 Padova Water Marathon was presented at Palazzo Moroni.

The press conference presenting the 2026 Padova Water Marathon was held yesterday in the Sala Bresciani Alvarez of Palazzo Moroni, the seat of the Municipality of Padua.

A concrete opportunity to take stock of the upcoming edition, just days before the May 3rd event. The numbers—up from last year—and the main innovations were shared, starting with the increased international participation and the expansion of collateral activities.

During the meeting, the weekend’s program was discussed, including competitive and amateur races, as well as initiatives designed to engage the city, such as the Bike Tour and the Venetian rowing relay.

The teamwork behind the event was clearly evident: institutions, associations, volunteers, and partners who, together with Canottieri Padova, contribute to the event’s success.

The presentation effectively opened the final phase of the run-up to the marathon, with Padua ready to welcome athletes and spectators for a weekend dedicated to sport and its waterways.
